Lastpass Mac App Download
For those of you who use LastPass through our Safari extension, we need your attention. Apple has implemented a change in how they handle Safari extensions. Previously, a Safari user could simply download an extension and use it in their browser. Now Apple is requiring users to download and install a Mac App to get the extension.
What this means for you
LastPass for Mac gives you a safe place to keep all of your sensitive account log-ins and other info, so you don't have to remember it all. Once you've entered all of your data into this app, you. Download the LastPass Safari app extension. Locate the download, then double-click on the LastPass.dmg file to open. Click and drag the LastPass app icon to the Applications folder. If you had installed a previous version of the Safari app extension and are prompted that the LastPass.app already exists in the Applications folder, click Replace. Download LastPass; LastPass Mac App. The LastPass App for Mac allows you to view, edit, and manage your Vault directly from your desktop from a stand alone application, while still giving you a streamlined access to launching your sites into your default browser for an automatic login.
If you use Safari, the good news is you can continue to use the browser extension as you always have. The new version will simply open as an application on your desktop and run in the background. But the browser extension will still appear in the top of your browser bar.

Download and Install LastPass
Your LastPass account will give you access to your data anytime, anywhere when you log in to LastPass since your stored data is securely synced to our servers.

Install the LastPass web browser extension
- Go to the LastPass downloads page.
- Click Download for your desired web browser extension, or click Quick Install if you are actively using your desired web browser.
- In your browser toolbar, click the inactive LastPass icon .
- Enter your username and your LastPass Master Password, then click Log In.An active LastPass icon is now displayed in your toolbar to indicate you are successfully logged in to LastPass.
Install the iOS app

- Locate the LastPass Password Manager app for iOS in the App Store.
- Tap Get > Install.

- Tap Install.
- Review the required app permissions, then tap Accept when ready.The app is now installed on your Android device.
Install the LastPass Mac app
- Download and install the LastPass Mac app from LastPass at https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php#app-for-mac.
Install the LastPass for Safari app extension
- Download the LastPass for Safari app extension.
- Locate the download, then double-click on the LastPass.dmg file to open.

Install the LastPass for Windows Desktop application
- From your desktop, open the Microsoft Store application.
- Search for LastPass and click on the desktop application (not the web browser extension application ) or go directly to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/lastpass/9wzdncrfj3qk.
- Click Get, then sign in to your Microsoft Live account, or click No, thanks to skip that process.The LastPass for Windows Desktop application is now installed.

The binary component is included in the LastPass Universal Installer for Mac and Windows, and is supported on the Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera, desktop web browsers via the web browser extension.
Install on non-admin or locked down computers
You may need to access your LastPass account on a computer that does not allow installation of add-ons, or where you do not wish to leave any files behind.
